A cheap indy three speed shifter should do the trick with an appendage added to get the rat height... Just watch out for your girlfriends forehead.....and the front bench seat...

looked up on the Lokar web site and they had quite a few auto shifters and manual shifters for 5 and 6 speeds but didnt find anything for 3sp manual. and i also looked for indy shifters and alot of those were also for autos. any suggestions? im not looking for brand new top of the line stuff because i want the rat appeal so the dingy-er the better. and im also an ebay buff so if you happen to see anything on there, let me know.

CC, There aren't a lot of calls for 3spd floor shifters these days. Hurst and Mr. Gasket used to have shifters for our trucks, don't know if they are still available.

I put a floor shift conversion on my 1968 f-100 it makes alot faster shifting once tuned right. Mine was purchased from Advance/Auto Zone. It was fairly cheap and looks great. Havent had any trouble with it yet..

It was really easy i drop the trans out cleaned it and painted it. Bolted everything on. Placed it near the floor and marked a spot, cut a hole in the floor and mat. then just assemble everything, it does take some adjusting to make it shift just right, but i like it. shifts so much easier
