Question adjustable rockers from crane

I can go from pedestal-mount rocker to an adjustable rocker-arm setup. What is the advantage ? can i use stock pushrod lenght with roller rocker 1.7 ratio 7/16 " stud from crane cams with aussie heads on 400 ? anyone have a similar setup ?

I'm using a similar set-up. I have the Crane screw in stud kit with BBC Crane roller rockers. I have the stock lenght push rods. Everthing seems to work OK. I like having the option to adjust the rockers.

Why not try the Scorpion roller rocker set?? Less money and works well. I have had a set on my truck for approx 40K with no problems. Madddog on e-bay sells them, as well as others.

mustang 81, first off hi, paul kiernan here(nicks dad),
crane cam componets # 52655-16, qoute, crane co.rocker arm stud conversion KIT.
is this you, i own and have run this kit period. for the record i am a staunch supporter of TMI & CRANE cams co inc period. it is your descision and you are asking. my point, that particular crane component is a very FINE product, but is has limitations depending upon what it is you are trying to accomplish. crane produces sells and so does TMI upgrades if you desire. back to # 52655-16, search the archives under father/son and/or pm mr nick and i at home. i give my word of honor, we will tell you the thruth, what we learned and in addittion what cranes outstandind tech department insructed us on particular apps with that PARTICULAR # ONLY. from the horses mouth SIR, to close, i would ask that you allow me to make myself absoutely CLEAR. pay attention to tmi, the elders and the occassional young buck who may be new, but you can tell by the way he speaks mechanically, he is not a fool or a bs artist.everyone MYSELF included STARTS somewhere. it is what comes out of any mans mouth, young or old is what counts. fair enough, pm us man you might find we are okay folks. later paul kiernan md.
