I run Napa "Ceramix" they are getting a bit noise all the sudden but other than that very nice pads. I think powerslots make some for our truck. I wouldn't go with drilled because of possible cracking.

if he wants cross drilled rotors tell him to just make sure the ones he gets are beveled on top of the holes. if they are beveled then they are less prone to cracking, but in my mind they still have the possibility of cracking. i would go with slotted rotors and hawk pads. from what i hear hawk pads are very good pads, but i have never personally used them.

I checked with one of those companies about slotted rotors for my truck. I think it was Powerslot. They made them for the 4WD but not the 2WD. I was looking into doing the Powerslots and hawk pads, but when I found out they didn't make them, I went with NAPA parts. They have been good so far, but I don't tow a whole lot. My worry was warped rotors but I haven't warped in 20K miles of hot driving.
