Engine choice
If you were building a rod, what would it have for an engine?

If money was no object this is what I'd build:
Engine Block: New Ford Boss 302 block
Cylinder Heads: CHI 3V 185 302W Boss C/A 8005A
Intake: CHI 8.2"W 3V 185
Camshaft: Custom ground solid hydraulic roller
Fuel system: Custom designed MPI MAF setup by me
Bore: 4.125"
Stroke: 3.25"
CID: 347
This thing would crank out 600HP and a helluva lot of torque.

If it came down to one engine only it would be a flathead. Right now I am working on my 300 but that is because it is what I have right now.

I like the engines you can get some good power out of. I would use a 351w for a smallblock, 460 for a big block, and if I could I wouldnt mess with gas engines and Id use a diesel.
