On the manifold I belive it was an inch, but I can recheck that if you need.
No, not necessary - I'll just be aware of it, if I ever decide to put the Fenton on mine, that it might be like your Weiand. Not sure, I have the choice of the Canadian aluminum or the Fenton dual. I like the single aluminum, but the dual is pretty cool. However, it IS a truck afterall, and maybe overkill considering the rest of the truck. Now, if I can find some aluminum heads, etc, then I might go all-out. Otherwise, the Fenton looks great, hanging on the wall!
Roger check out the pic at the top of pg2. Look at the one showing the bottom of the intake, look on the left of the pic, you can see the bottom of the mounting boss and how far its offset.
I spent several hrs. yesterday looking at pics trying to figure it out. Once it was explained it was clear as mud.
The user CP mystery will be cleared by the time you make two more posts. That is my Super prediction of the day.

I don't have PM's either, could that be another problem or glitch with my profile?
Not sure of the befefits of the taller spacer but I bought a pair of them off eBay (same as the ones shown in the earlier post) and plan to put them on an old Edmunds two pot manifold. I thought they looked "spiffy" and that was my only reason - figured if they didn't run well on a basically warmed up stocker (EAB heads, little "clean up" porting in the works - nothing radical, mild cam, Reds headers/Smithys, HEI dizzy and a stock 239 crank for now) I could easily take them off.
Right now I'm just trying to get back to work on the truck. Lost my lease on my rental space and have had to move to another location - it'll take me a while to be able to find things again and make progress but should be a nicer spot overall.
I am looking at the ones on E-bay right now as they are the only ones reasonably priced. I finally got a response back from Red's Headers and they want 48.00 a piece plus shipping for Offy spacers. I made enough gaskets from some material I have to get them up an inch. Going to drive it today to my Dad's to work on his 50. About 25 miles round trip so we will see how it goes. It isn't running that great but I suspect the gas. It had a 1/4 tank of really old gas and I filled it with fresh. Runs better but I probably should have drained all the old stuff out. But at 3.00 bucks a gallon I figured I would just deal with it.
FUN FACTOR
Before you install the spacers, paint them a contrasking color to your carb/manifoldm mabe use the crinkle or lumpy paint.. That should make them quite obvious.
When someone asks what they are kinda shake your head, smile and say, "Those, just trying something out", when they ask what your trying out, just say, "Well I can't really say".
Now the way I look at it - You are trying something out - looking different. As far as what your trying out - "A Spacer" doesn't sound that cool.
