west coast mirrors
i know this probably isnt the place for this but i have tried the classifieds with no response. does anyone know where i can find factory west coast mirrors for a camper special? my uncle had a set on his 72 cs. i want to put a pair on my 79

There was a thread on this a couple months ago, have you tried search or

West Coast Mirrors
I wanted regular size ones. I ordered in new ones from more than one company and none were right. I search ebay for months and nothing. I went to the "Ford" bone yard for something else and right up front sat a U haul truck with them on. i walked past this truck 20 times and never noticed them. I asked how much and the guy said he just had to have $20.00. I would have paid $100.00.
Point being, I think both juniors and reg,s are hard to find.
i might be wrong but a buddy tells me they were also on step vans and when you call around mention this. The heads might not be the correct ones but maybe the pipes are.

well i guess i just keep looking at my local bone yards. i have looked specifically for these and there arent any around. but i will keep looking. thanks for the correct terminology

are the ones on my crew considered "west coast" mirrors? I have never really understood this term as it seems vague to me. From what I can tell it refers to anything remotely looking like mine???

IMO these all kinda look the same to me (round tube with a rectangular mirrow attached). Is one stock/factory style more rare than another?

as per the video, they are Jr west coast mirrors (stainless) I like those the best.
regular west coast mirrors are full height mirrors like a F-600. I like those too, but they are seldom stainless, all mine are painted.
keep looking, they are out there, I've had a couple sets over the years.

the ones i am looking for were stock on the 72 camper special. they are original ford parts. they are hard to find but i will find a pair somewhere just wish i could find an oem part number
