Water Pump Wrenches

Are the two (2) surfaces, one on the clutch and the other on the water pump standard sizes or are they manufacture specific? If they are standard does anyone know what the two (2) sizes are?

Info much appreciated.

It was a little joke out of the 50's, a kind of an imaginary performance enhancement (Hmmmm, sounds like a TV ad for E.D.) I got twice pipes. 4bbl carb and Cadillac Battery Water.

here is pic of the wrench. Hope this works my first time on web shots . The wrench is 1-7/8, and the one that goes on the w/p pully bolts is 58mm

Yep, those are the correct sizes IIRC.

I'm with Luke on this one. I just use an air hammer. However, the only draw back I've seen is this. If the air hammer burrs the nut too much, it will rub the back of the fan clutch and cause a whine. My new truck was doing this and I thought the fan clutch was going out. I just filed the burr off and it was good. Just FYI.
