Ask Bill to post the ford part number, The F250s all had divorced cases and similar mounting untill '77 and the pucks should still be avalible through ford.
Check Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, a sponsor on this site on the Bronco forums. They are a little pricey, but at least you can get them there if you can't find them at Ford. Your truck should have originally had a Spicer 24 transfer case. Did you do a 4x4 conversion?
no, it was stock 4x4. I thought I read a "205" on the transfer case tag. I could be wrong. It has 4 mounts on the top of it, and it just hangs down.
I'll check jeffs bronco. thanks
I went to your gallery photos, very nice truck. It certainly looks like a stock 4x4. I too have a 66 F250 4x4, still at the paint shop, and it will be marlin blue. I have the 57-60 style bed though. If you look at the red metal tag on the left side of the transfer case, it should say Dana Spicer and have 24 stamped on the tag.
i'll have to check it out, thanks. I looked at jeffs bronco website, and the has mounts that appear to be the one's I'm looking for sooo..i'll probably just get them from him.
It's better than taking my broken apart remains to car quest to have them "match 'em up" with some other mount.
Well, the fuel gauge does not work, but I'd guess it is around 10-11 in the city. That's only a guess. It has the original 352 and I drive it like a grandpa. I don't use it for a daily driver. While it is fun to drive, the manual steering, brakes and transmission sometimes make it a pain to drive in traffic day in and day out. It is my weekend lumber getter.
I haven't gotten mine on the road yet, but will soon.
The previous owner had a little book he left in the glove box, where he recorded all fill ups and mpg. I appears to have averaged around 11 or 12 mpg. He was an older gentlemen so he probably didn't floor it where ever he went.
Once mine is done I plan on driving it daily. I am borrowing a work vehicle in the mean time.
