Here is my new (to me) 2005 F150XLT 4x4 with 5.4l engine. I got it for a straight across trade for my 2005 Jeep Wrangler. It is high mileage, but they are mostly highway mileage at 87,000.It has 7,000 left on the Ford ESP, which I already have to use.
It has the take off shuddering, I talked to the local Ford dealer and when I told him the problem he said "The LS clutches are out" and confirmed it is under the warrenty. So I take it in on Thursday and they'll fix it right up.
Thanks to this forum, I was already sure this was the probelm, the only question was if it was warrented, and it is.
