I don't know about a tire jumping up and down, but if it could be going side to side, after hitting a hole you may want to look at a steering dampner/shock.
Steering dampners are bandaid fixes for death wobble. DO a google search on death wobble, see if that fits the description of whats going on. PUt your truck on a jack, grab the tire top and bottom, try pushing/pulling both ways, then do it side to side. Also, you did not mention whether or not you did balljoints. I would replace them unless you knew when they were last done.
Not trying to be a jerk, just trying to help you out. Did you replace the worn-out tie rod? Need to start with that and check the ball joints, then get it aligned. A bad tie rod will lead to the death wobble everytime.
