Another solution would be to find an alloy wheel, preferably in the smaller bolt pattern and have the additional bolt pattern added, spaced between the original holes. You might have to do some looking to find one with the right size center hole to fit, but then you could use the same spare on either end. The wheel you would want would need to have a large flat center section like a slotted wheel. You see multiple patterns (Iv'e seen as many as four different patterns on the same wheel) all the time in the older vintage wheels like magnesium Halibrand (too expensive for your needs), but it would work on a plain alluminum wheel as long as there was enough meat fro bnoth patterns.

that issue of re drilling the axles sounds like a good soloution think I might go with that.... Thanks a million lads for your imput cheers, sean
