Have you actually checked you oil level??? If its low, it wont run. Injectors driven by oil. Is Tach working?? When you are cranking, if it flutters, your CPS is good. Have you noticed any fuel in the valley of your engine? IF so, its your Fuel pump. Did it sputter and die, or did it just quit??? Whats the temp up there??? If you changed it in the HPOP, it will take some cranking to get it to fire again. Might take 7 or 8 cycles to get air out enough to drive injectors. Just a few things to check to keep you busy.....LOL
Few things will make it stop as though you shut off the key '''On the left head ,near the lifting ring, there is a 3 wire connector (ICP) ...unplug it & try starting it again... make sure the sensor is not leaking any oil from it...
The fuel pump is mechanical so you must be cranking the engine over with the starter to get any pressure. If you were testing like an electric pump thats why your not seeing any pressure. Also even though you are getting a tach signal try putting the old CPS back in.
Thanks TJ i had a friend crank the motor while i checked for pressure there was no pressure.Iwill try the old cps in the a m i have nothing to lose.Another problem came up tonite,I went make sure the truck was locked so i hit the remote lock button from my vw and the running lites always blink on and off quick, tonite the lites stayed on and they wont go off. I went into the truck put the lites on then off tried the remote switch nothing the lites dont go out, whats up with that?
