'94' F150 5.8l . Not always but occasionally is difficult to start when the engine is warm. And have noticed what smells like a rich condition when it does this. Again, this does not happen when cold but only when shutdown after the engine has come up to temp, and it is intermittent (my favorite kind of problem).
The last post i made on this topic shows the solution:
"FINALLY found the fix for this!! Friggin' coolant temperature sensor was the problem!
Signal to the DME was that coolant was 49F all the time...thus causing it to run WAY to rich. No wonder my gas mileage sucked. Texasguy - send me an email for more details as i think you were chasing this same problem (maybe you already fixed it).
