Need OEM Part Number Please

Hi,

I have a 99 F250 4x4 SD that has a set of overload springs on the top f the rear spring packs, but I am missing the 4 spring stops. I have searched this site and the ford parts sites and cannot find them. Does anyone know the part numbers for these brackets or can anyone go out to their truck and see if they can see a number on the brackets? Thanks for the help.

Hey, thanks a lot man. I ran the part numbers for the brackets(5700) and the bumpers(5A636) on some of the oem parts sites and nothing came up. Do you by chance know if those numbers are correct or if they are missing a couple digets? Thanks again.

The OEM websites don't list all the parts, and sometimes list the wrong ones. You will probably need to call or email them (copy and paste the diagram and list into your email) to get the pricing.

Good luck.

NOTE: In the above chart, only the standard parts (the ones beginning with the letter N) are complete part numbers, the others are basic Ford part numbers only.

To be a complete part number, you need the prefix and suffix...which differentiates what the parts fit. Ford has used the same basic part numbers, (which unlike GM is also the group number) in some cases, since Model T days.

Item #16 is a rear spring..basic part number 5560. For a Model T, it may be T-5560-A, for a 1932 Ford, it's 18-5560-A, for a 1965 F100 with 5 leafs, it's C5TZ-5560-N.

Direct Ford Parts (Gaudin Ford-Las Vegas NV) is a FTE sponsor for this forum. Look among the sponsor list on this page for their online link.

Not only will you get the help you need, but Direct offers parts discounts from the actual Ford suggested retail price (as high as 40% off in some cases) to FTE members.

When you type Ford part numbers into the online parts locators, remove any spaces, periods, comma's or hyphens from the numbers...also the number zero (0) in the parts prefix is typed as o's in most cases. Capitalizing the part numbers letters isn't necessary.

Example: D0AZ-62234A24-B should be typed: doaz62234a24b This is considered a body part, so the basic number is 234A24. Adding the prefix, the 62 (a body code designation), and the suffix makes it a complete part number.

btw: The above p/n is the "power window (plastic) gear kit" used from 1970 on passenger cars, and 1980 and later on trucks.

Direct Ford Parts price for the above part is (Ford's suggested retail price): $31.60 / FTE member net price: $22.33.
