That is F***ing gorgeous!!! Nice work under the hood. I have a line on a '65, but my wife is pregnant and a bit irritable about things showing up in the driveway
I bought a 1968 Fastback from Van nuys california 10 years ago before the prices got rediculous. It ended up being a smart move it is a GT with factory air and original paint ,Gold with black interior, and the best part is I still own it!
I bought a 72 a year ago for 600.00, It isn't a beauty yet , but it's got lots of potential. It runs well now, and I'm getting ready to finish the little bit of bodywork left on it before it goes to paint.
My 66!! I'd prefer a 69 fastback though. I'm looking for one that needs some work (65-70). If I find a fastback, my son will get my coupe when he turns 16. If I get another coupe, we'll restore it and that one will be his when he turns 16.
well i like the 69-70 fast backs but my heart has to be for the 74-78 mustang II ive owned at least 1 of every year with 76-77 haveing at 3 of each. here was my pride and joy at graduation
it even said in the year book that i had the fastest car in school for 1990,this one's best time was 12.98 at the strip and was the first car i owned that could pull the wheels off the ground. needless to that is what killed it being young and dumb i didnt know anything about fram conecters and the body twisted and cracked the windshield
Yep, anything pre about '73 is a very worthwhile investment if it has no cancer.
My son-in law restores them for a living & life is good. Big money vehicles.
