I am in need of rebuilding my tranny. I have a C6 behind a 428 CJ with about 400-425HP and around 500 LB-TQ. It is in a 76 F250 with a devorced t-case. I use this truck for mud drags in low range and I also use it on the street. I will also be installing a 3K stall when the tranny is done.
My question, what is the best rebuild kit out there for my application. I have done a great deal of research and one thing that I have come up with is I need to change out the servo with a R servo.
I would also like to get my shift points up to 5800-6000RPM. It currently shifts at 5K.
