Holy crap did i get a steel then today!!! Wheels were in the back of my my but i just wasnt ready to start the search. I started looking for a rear axle off and old truck cause my timken was wore out so i called a guy on craigslist about a 1941 1 ton flat bed he had for sale just for the axle/other salvageable parts. So i bought the whole truck for $450 bucks let alone after reading this forum found it doesn't have widow makers but 20" budds with snap ring's. i also got a rear axle, running 6 cylinder flat head and working tranny, i still cant even believe it.

Hey, that's great. Good score. It sorta helps confirm my understanding that widow makers didn't come out until around the mid-40s. And all the rest of the pieces in with the deal too. Outstanding.
