Question Where to buy 6637 filter?
I,m trying to find another #6637 filter but not having any luck. Thanks for any help. This is a great site , also! thanks. P.S. are there any smaller diameter filters with the 4" opening that would fit a little better? Just wondering.

Fleetfilter.com -Not sure on the other filters - would lose a little efficiency cfm wise with smaller filter IMO

NAPA for $40
www.fleetfilter.com for around $30 ($22 if you buy two)
I think it is a Wix 46637 if you would like to go to AZ or Advanced or anywhere

Auto Zone does not carry Wix, I just checked yesterday. Nor can they cross the 6637 to anything they do carry. Does anyone know for sure if Advanced or Carquest does?

carquest does they actualy carry wix filters and thats who makes the Napa filters. I get mine there and it is generally cheaper than Napa, a lot cheaper

you tell him the 6637 and he'll be able to cross I don't know the exact # right off but it is the exact same filter. the 6637 is a duralite #

the wix # is 46637, I looked on Advance Autos web site and they want $70

One of the NAPAs here cuts me a break and gives me the city contractor price of $22 per filter. Never hurts to ask for a discount if you do a lot of business with one place.

I ain't never going into an Advanced store ever again if that is correct. 22 bucks is a good deal, actually even better than what Fleet Filter is charging right now.
