My Dad sold a DIVCO for a few hundred bucks 4 or 5 years ago...good thing I don't recall what kind of wheels were on it...if I did I think I'd need to take anti-depressants.

These aren't realy Divco wheels, they were only offered on Fords, mostly panel trucks back in the '40s and '50s. They were high and narrow, kind of like Model A wheels. They were suppose to help the truck get through on the muddy, rutted rural roads. I think they were called milk truck wheels because the farmers used panel trucks, with these wheels, to deliver milk and other farm produce to the nearby towns. They got the label Divco wheels because Divco made milk trucks.

Later the salt flat racers started using them on their race cars. Street rodders also like using them. Now the nostalgic racers are looking for them which makes them very sought after.

There are very similar wheels that were used by almost everyone, Olds, Plymouth, Chrysler, etc. but they don't have the wide-5 bolt pattern needed for Fords. Still worth good money tho.
