I know im going to hear it about this but i looked and cant find anything...... I have a 78 f100 with manuel brakes i want to put power brakes on it i crossref. the brake cyl and they are the same for man/and/power brakes so i guess i dont need to change them.. i know i need a new pedal, master cyl and booster but what about the praportioning valve i know i spelt that wrong but you get the point..... or is there anything i am not thinking about and need?
Look for the thread at > Misc. > Brakes, Steering, Suspension, Tires, & Wheels>disc brake conversion on 1973 f100 4x4.
If you are just adding power assist instead of the disc conversion to go with it I'd find a donor the same year as your's and get the pedal assembly/booster/master from it and put it in. Otherwise get everything as in this other post.
I've changed mine to power disc and i love it, the brakes work great! Try it you'll like it!
