Hi all. I am working on an 03 f-150 supercab two wheel drive 5.4 z code engine, automatic. It is a LP GAS truck. The compuvalve failed, and we are not going to repair it. We now have 3 bad valves on other trucks and they are going to be phased out, due to cost and maintence. I have a code u1262 that wont go away. I have looked at wires till i am blind. I did find two that were rubbed through, and shorting on the A/C drier, just under the starter solinoid behind a metal bracket that two big gray wire conectors clip onto. I repaired them. I also removed all the lp gas wiring, and plugged the factory harness connectors back. I no longer have a code for the throttle position sensor, or tp circut. I no longer have a code for the 02 sensors. I think there were 6 or 8 codes, that i think were because they are tied to the compuvalve. The u1262 will only set when you turn the truck off then restart it. As long as you dont turn the truck off, it will not set. Any ideas
