hi all,
my daily driver is a 1996 ford ranger xlt extended cab 4.0l 5spd 2wd .
some mods, good gas milage, and quick. just turned148k on the clock.
my wife bought it before i met her. and it's a good little truck. i won't pull
my race car, with it. the truck is to small. and i donnot want to smoke the clutch.
hell my race car is bigger than my truck is!
My daily to work is usually my '97 F-150, she's got 189,000 on her now, but she still runs and looks good. I don't drive the Powerstroke too much to work, with diesel being so high, I mainly drive it on the weekends.
hi pat,
how's things in omaha? i'll tell you what! i'll send some sunshine your way how's that!
it's in the 50's out here! no snow, no rain,it's sunny, i'm grilling, life is good!
saves on wood thats for sure. sorry man, i didn't mean to rub it in.
but, yeeee haw!! go huskers
My daily driver is a regular cab 1996 Ranger XLT 4 cylinder. it has 54,500 miles on it.
Weekend driver is a 2005 F350.CC.PSD.LWB.FX4.DRW.auto.King Ranch. 41,000 miles.
What the 350 costs in diesel in a week I can run a whole month with the Ranger.
Only problem with the Ranger is it's 0-60mph in 10 minutes.
2003 PSD lairet, crew cab, short box, automatic, 90,000 miles and counting, drive it everyday, unless my wife has her sable at home then I drive that to save some $$ on fuel. I would RATHER drive my pickup, but it would be a BETTER idea to pay for her gas. To bad the sable didnt have a hitch on it or I would probably try and pull my race car trailer with it...
Mine are hard on fuel too and as much as I drive it does hurt the wallet. But I wouldn't have it any other way. The day just doesn't feel right if I ever have to drive something else.
I bet we could too, but I think that the wife would HIGHLY frown upon us towing trailers around with her sable... it would be a REALLY funny sight to see though... Could you imagine a black 01 sable pulling my demo car (1972 Fury) down the road? LOL
