I can't technically call it a daily driver because I have two vehicles to exercise but I do drive the truck the most. There's no reason you can't. Just remember that you're driving an older, outdated vehicle and you'll be fine. Leave plenty of room to stop, when cornering, remember that it doesn't handle as well, etc. If it's modified, then it may not even be outdated and then there is especially no reason not to.

I drive mine everyday... the only part that hurts is having to fill it up every week.. compared to my wifes car which gets 30 mpg....

Mine has become my company truck so all of the repairs, and mods offer a tax advantage. I can go buy a new truck for my company, and spend 30-40 grand, or I can buy a few Slicks fix them up, and have a unique fleet for less money. It has been a great promotional item. I only drive about 3-4000 per year, and it also keeps the business insurance a lot cheaper too.

I have been driving mine every day since my Honda broke down 2 months ago...my gas mileage may have decreased, but my appeal to the ladies has multiplied exponentially!

I have drum brakes, the 240, and the 3 speed manual. I have no problems running up and down the interstate...now that I'm not scared to step on the peddle a little.

I started so many different things,,, so many different times in reply to this,,,, aaarrrgggghhhh !!! How did we get so many IDIOTS runnin things?!! I won't even get started!! Let's just say I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting 2012, and hoping alot more folks are too,,,, Keep the friggin Change! I want Drill Baby Drill!!!

So,,, aside from that,,, I have 3 that get rotated as my daily driver,,, so can I call it a daily driver?!! My 66 "Shrek" is my first choice, followed by "Sid" my 77, then the 96 when I have to drop the little one off at pre-school,,, hopefully Mater, my 63 will get in the rotation soon,,, it keeps the miles low on ALL of them!!
