Question theft proofing

Is there a way to disable these trucks so they will not start and without causing any problems?

Have you looked at the battery brain systems? The type 3s have a remote that can disable the electrical system at the push of a button.

You could probably put a hidden switch to disconnect the starter wire.

Under the hood, relay box, PULL relay #302. IDM Relay. May not be convenient, but it is cheap.

He is a ex DEA dog, allot of fun taking him to petsmart. He has to walk between all of the cars, sand sometimes sit beside one and bark once

He sleeps there at night if it is not to cold, I have a tempertic twin matress and rain cover for him. Plus water bowl so he does not have to walk far for water.

In the winter when it is cold he thinks it is ok to sleep in our bed. What a spiold dog.

Just wondering if anybody has installed the Ravelco themselves? They don't have a dealer in my area.

We're planning a trip to the Southwest this summer to do some camping. Sounds like the Ravelco might be a good thing to have!

There isn't much to stop the thieves here in AZ, mine had a top of the line alarm and it still got stolen. After that I installed these http://www.jimmijammer.com/Product,%20JJ.htm on my doors to help, but I've been told it'll only slow them down - maybe - but it won't stop them. Basically the best anti-theft device is for you to actually sit there and guard it w/a gun, or just hope nothing happens and if it does let the ins. deal w/ it -BEST ANIT-THEFT DEVICE - Have full coverage insurance!

I wouldn't want to leave my dog guarding any motor vehicle, I'd be scared someone would drag him, if he was tied to it, or just plain kill him if they want it bad enough.
And we have a huge Boxer.

you can also hook up a switch to your fuel pump either are easy to do. Buy some 12v wire and a switch. Obviously put the switch somewhere they won't look.

your still going to have a broken door handle or window though =\

If you pull the relay I suggested, I have a hard time believing a car thief would have a spare relay. This is a pain to do, but I think it is a pretty reliable method for protection against theft. Clearly something else is needed for breaking in.
