Need a little clarifiation here. Is your truck an 89 F-150 or an 80 F-100? They stopped making the F-100 in 83 and some of them had a different bolt pattern than the F-150's

Either way, they are the same wheels, weather its a 89 F150 or 80 F100,they both came stock with 15X6 wheels with the 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. They are the same bolt pattern as most of the Jeeps also.BUT,for a couple of years on the F100 they DID make a differant bolt pattern on the truck they called the 4X2.I looked at your profile and saw you have an 82 F100,so if it is not the 4X2,you should be able to find tons of stock wheels that fit it.The 4X2 should be a 5 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern if I remember correctly.Hope this helps.

Thats what I was getting at. The larger pattern, 5x5.5 is the same as most 1/2 ton dodge trucks as well. If you have the smaller 5x4.5 pattern, thats the same as mustangs, rangers, jeeps, and mopar cars. Thats a few more options for your JY scrounging.

I dont think they made a 4wd F-100, I have never seen one anyhow. I had a 2wd 83 F-100 with the 5x5.5 wheels, but I did meet a few F-100 owners with the smaller pattern.

My friend had a 1973 F100 4x4. If I remember correctly it had a single speed transfer case. 5 x 5 1/2 (4x4) rims will fit 1/2 ton Fords and Jeep CJ's. It's the center hole size that differs between 4x4 and 4x2 on the Fords

The correct information.

1948/1952 F1 / 1953/79 F100 / 1975/96 F150 = 5 X 5.50 bolt pattern.

1980/82 F100 = 5 X 4.50 bolt pattern (because of brake caliper clearance, passenger car wheels with the 4.50" bolt circle WILL NOT fit).

1983 F100 = some have 4.50" some have 5.50" bolt pattern.

No 1980/83 F100's were offered with 4WD.

These trucks have different: suspension, springs, shocks, brakes, swiss cheese frames than like F150's do.

The 9" rear axle has smaller diameter 31 splined axle shafts (2 1/4") than like F150's (2 3/4") do.

Ford advertised the 1980/83 F100's originally as a LIGHT TRUCK. Very few accessories were available. 302 V8's or 300 6's, no super or crew cabs...just regular cabs only.

Last F100 = 1983 - replaced by the Ranger.
