Engine Wiring Harness / IDM
Anybody got any good place to buy a known good engine wiring harness and/or Injector Driver Module? I have come to believe that my injector / miss / performance issue is a wiring / IDM issue, or at least that is where the codes are leading again. Parts from ford are $776 for IDM and $700-$100 (depending on build date) for the harness. There has to be a better way.

What codes are you getting? Have you ever had your valve covers off? The 9 pin connector is famous for separating and causing problems and codes.. like P1316.. or rubbing from push rods/rocker arms on your harness.. I fixed mine last year for $0..

I have a known good wiring harness, but most of the connectors have been cut off ICP, FBH, EBP, AIH, etc..the wires are still there, just the connectors have been snipped. PM me if you really, really, really want to start this adventure.

Thanks Brandon....not really needing one 'that' bad.
ClintBonnie...have 4 new injectors, 2 new UVC harnesses with new clips, 2 new gaskets, 8 new glow plugs and a new Glow plug relay. I'm still getting codes indicating bad IDM or PCM. I think something like a short in the harness might have casue the IDM to fail (if it did fail) which is why I'm trying to find both at a reasonable price. Ebay has the IDMs handy but the harness seems to be difficult to find....not even any at local salvage yards.
