They were showing it on TV this morning, I was watching for a bit, the stories seemed so different that I wasn't sure who to believe. But for some reason my gut tells me he used the roids.
He should have just admitted to himself using it to get over an injury. It was legal to use HGH when they claim he did it.
Side note: You'd think that Congress would have better things to do than question ball players with all the things going on in the world.
lol, congresses approval rating is just a hair higher than W's, which is a hair higher than rock bottom
but yeah, summons him to court, give him a jury a let them decide on if he did it or not.
they probably wouldnt be involved if they had a commisioner that did his job/ or set some rules in place to ban someone for testing positive for anything
i've been watching the hearings......not saying yet if he did or not but he's killed McMcliar on the stand. the trainer keeps saying "i remember this or that after the last time i swore to tell the truth".
Rocket came from Boston so his demise....i'm not against totally. this hearing is a joke.
earth to congress......athletes did steroids....you all have done, well nothing of substance.
15% approval rating......13% too high if you ask me.
Just one question here...Why is congress involved in a sporting venture anyway? How is this a proper expenditure of tax dollars? Really why in the heck are they poking their nose in it anyway? Heck who cares if he took them? Hell give me some for crying out loud. If your kids are following their sports and taking to that limit anyway it seems to me that it's mroe of a parenting issue at that point. Not an issue that friggin congress gets involved in. what a joke.
There wouldn't even been a hearing if Roger Clemens didn't file a suit and wanted to "clear his name". I find it interesting that Roger Clemens would push this so much. Think about what he has to lose- not only his reputation, but could get indicted for purgery and if found guilty, be imprisoned. That's a lot to lose. Now, if he would just admit (if he actually did) using for some reason or another, yes, his legacy would be tarnished, but that's it. Own up to it, make a sincere apology and go on. So, he may just have opened a big can of worms by being so determined to clear his name.
