thanks i have the diesel 7.3 only marks were on the tailgate and they offered me 6500 with the plow, i asked him for a mirror, so i could look in and see if i really look that dumb. chevy dealer offered me 17000 which was more realistic

Trade-Ins can be a major pain in the butt. I traided in my first two trucks and sold the most recent one to an individual. The dealers were only willing to give me $15K on a great condition 05, 6.0 because of the high miles but I sold it on craigslist for $23,500. You will most likely be much better off selling it yourself and working a good deal on a new truck. I got $11,545 off MSRP and paid $41,100 for a mostly loaded 4x4,F350,cc that stickered for $52,600
