Shocks

As far as I know there is only one shock for the front with LLS that is made by Monroe. Even if you by from Ford it is still Monroe. I put new Monroes on the front and Bilsiens on the rear. Big difference. I ordered mine from Shock Warehouse. Came quickly and I thought price was good.

If I can do it anyone can. The drivers side rear is a little tuff as you have to work around the gas tank. The hardest thing on the front was getting the old out and the new in. You have to compress the shock a little to get it in and out. Crow bar worked well. To remove the air line from the front shocks, just push in the little orange ring to disconect the air line. You may have to push in a little on the air line to get the teeth to let go, but not a bad deal really.

No air here...easier job, really. Old out, then put the top mount through (not tightened yet), cut the tie off the new shock and guide it into the lower perch as it expands. Don't even need a jack for this job!
