rear window motor switch

I thought the window in my Bronco was shot, so I pulled the access cover, and put power to the motor, and vawlaw, down it went. I'm pretty sure the switch is shot, but i cant test it because I need to know what wires to cross to go up and down. Anybody know? my haynes manual doesnt show it. Thanksg guys.

Which switch... the one in the dashboard or the one in the tailgate? The wiring is slightly different for each one.

You should be able to unplug the switch and see which pin has power (incomming) If no power is there, its not the switch. You can test the switch on the bench. If the switch tests out, you can figure out which pins on the harness go to the gate. And so forth. I'm sorry I dont have the color codes. But often, there wrong anyways. I've been through this several times and its not to difficult. Just be advised that both leeds going to the motor have power when the switch is at rest. (if its plugged in and working correctly)
