I went on my scavenger hunt today at the PickNPulls around here... looking for F350s.. found 6 of them.. none were 4x4... I will keep hoping, if I do find one the whole assy would cost a whopping $199, or $139 if I took the 4x4 hubs and rotors off. I just hope to find 3 or 4 so I can sell a few for $1500. > But the IDI deisels and transmissions go fast! I only once found a 6.9L.. it was stripped.. turbo gone (oil line was left) IP was left because it had corosion on the fittings. But I figured a 6.9L long block with manifolds and IP (core atleast) would be worth the $120 to have for parts.. because I was buying a 6.9L with a head gasket leak (which didn't come to fruition) If nothing else it will be nice to be able to tear one of these engines apart. No better teacher than experience! And it is easier to see it on a engine out and then go try working on it installed.
