98 expy with a vibration
I have a 98 expy. that about a month ago developed a mild vibration at aruond 45-50 mph. So I did smoe checking underneath and found a mildly worn ujoint on the front driveshaft. Then a couple days go by and my wife noticed that the 4wd wasn't working. i did a simple check of the system and found that what I think is the problem. The v.c. motor on the front diff. doesn't seem to be worikng. What I was wonder is could this also cause the vibration since the truck is in 2 wheel drive. Or do I have another underlying issue. Also could running the truck with a bad v.c. motor cause internal damage to the diff.
