I dont know about the snap on, but i isolated it without the use of a scanner.
I was able to find the weak/non firing injector.

I did end up buying an AE scantool so that i can buzz test them to find the bad one, that's how i found the weak one causing the same symptoms - If your scanner can do a buzz test then you may be able to tell which injector is not working correctly
