I know I have asked this before but never gotten a reply,
How do I remove the bezel that holds the switch in the door?
i need to replace the pass side both front and back,
F150 I'm not sure of the cab name but it has the smaller doors that swing the oposite way.
yeah, it's easy, the bezel pops off of the door panel. You could remove your speaker grill first if you want. I am able to do it by hand using my fingernails for leverage. But you can use a small flat head screwdriver, but be careful to not to scratch the grill or door panel.
I have the same problem with my 2005 f150 FX4 driver side window switch. But my switches have no bezel to remove. Can't find any screws or a seem that would look to pull apart. Is there any instruction?
Same as Passenger side. The top of arm rest around switches pops off at the seam on the sides and switches are right there. Did the driver side on my 06 in about 15 minutes last fall. Seems to be an recurring problem on these trucks from what my dealership parts manager says.
As stated easy to pop off but pricey to replace window switches $100 a pop at ford
door lock switch $ 36
Looks the same inside getting shafted by ford
i had to change 3 last month
the price is in Ontario Canada what are they in USA.
go to Pittsburgh quite a bit may be cheaper to by there ?? any one got price's at ford USA
I payed $63 US. That included a 25% discount. I'd try one of the sponsors on this site for Ford parts. Canadian/US should be about the same once the exchange rate is factored in.
