If I take a voltmeter to my batteries while they are hooked up to the truck, I get a full 12 Volts. Does that mean both batteries are doing their job? OR could one of the batteries be lower and the other is taking up the slack?
I'm pretty electrically ignorant... been shocked on a number of occasions...
The best way to test your batteries is to have them load tested, individually. Most auto parts places will do it for free. If one is bad, replace in pairs.
I've been shocked too...especially when I buy parts for the wife's Volvo V70XC . I just got the bulb that lights up the shift console....$16 !
