If you find a service manual CD on Ebay that says "Ford Trucks" for the year model you have, that'll include the Aerostar and lots of other trucks such as Explorer, F150, etc....

First, your aero must be on jackstands under the frame railes.
You are to unscue propeller shaft, unbolt shoks, unscrue spring retainers and remove springs, disconnect brake line, unscue all arms from axle and carefully tow back axle.
when your axe will be pulled out, put it on jackstands and off wheels.
Install wheels on new axle and put it under the van.
Well, see worn rubber insulators - replace them.
Bolt all controll arms to all 3 points.
Install springs.
bolt shoks.
connect brake line.
Use self locking nuts.
install propeller shaft.
Bleed brakes.
conduct a road test....
