All these dizzy's are are a chebby top half on a ford bottom half, they work great, i'm running one on my mud bogger, very happy with it so far, very simple wiring wise.

Bringing this back up, had a Proform HEI in my F250. Driving down the highway about 20 miles from home the engine fluttered and died. No fire. Called a buddy and he pulled me home.
Pulled the distributor, shaft was unusually tight, removed the shaft, top bushing was cooked, the magnetic pickup was a copper birds-nest.

A spirial is cut into the shaft to push oil to the top bushing, but a Chevy turns CW, a Ford runs CCW. Spirial was in the wrong direction for a Ford.

Replaced the pickup, cleaned the burned grease and copper out, greased everything up good, running like new!
