Im actually not sure if theres a boat launch close by. But I could always go build one. I would also have to do a little research on the river to make sure theres no low spots and whatnot.
There is no boat launch that I know of and I don't think you would want to take a boat out on that river. It is always changing due to the currents and you never know if there is a sand bar just under the water!
The Can-am's have an optional XT package that comes with a warn winch and aluminum rims. I'm sure more is included but I forget what!!
The Polaris Predator is were its at lol.. I have an 03 Polaris Preditor 500, decked out bored, piped, jetted, yada yada.... I ride it mostly in the woods, and at the test track. Also have an 07 Yamaha Wolverine 450 4x4 bone stock except for tires and rims. It runs alot stronger than I expected. Do alot of riding up Tri-County up past I.U.P. in PA which i think a few members here are located, also do alot of riding down my camp grounds in Claysville, PA.
Lol ive had some YZ's and Raptors thinkin they could smoke me, lol till we actually raced then they had other thoughts. I mean a stock predator would be smoked by the YZ and the Raptor. Im impressed with the power the YZ has, its a very light and tight bike in the woods too. Mines anything but stock tho, actually the seat and plastics are stock lol..
I guess it`s ok to take abit of time off Ford trucks.....
Almost makes me wish I still had a quad but there was too many problems with the two hondas I had. That cured me of quads for a while.
It was mainly luck of the draw and I didn`t have any good luck I guess.
I wouldnt buy a honda, heard alot of bad things about them. So far both of mine have been pretty good on durability stand point, even the predator with all the stuff i have done with it. I also change the oil after every hard ride, and lube everything every ride. Only thing i hate bout the predator is i have dual intake on it, and the way its designed it gets alot of dust on the filters and i have to clean them CONSTANTLY.
My son looked at all the quads and honda was the most expensive and if I understood him correctly they has the shortest warranties.
He ended up with a 700 Suzuki, I like it as it`s a smooth riding heavy duty rig though not a sports machine.
If you like the 4x4 and hauling power of a utility quad, and the sport look and handling of a sport quad, then you would love the Yamaha Wolverine 4x4 450.
honda has improved their warranty system, it now beats all the other brands. Try a suzuki like mine Fom. its pretty simple and i'm enjoying it thus far. hard to beat the 6600 deal!!
88f150, whats your 10-20?? a couple of us are planning a little atv ride over the draggins weekend near s'toon. perhaps you want to join??
Yep, Pennsylvania. Would love to though, wish we had a little better weather here, so i can hit a trail or two. This summer the Wolverines gettin a makeover, they finally came out with a jet kit and exhaust and stuff, FINALLY.
