460 rebuild help

I had my block bored .040 over new kieth black pistons kb137 I'm using a lunati cam with 280-290 duration and .516"-.543" lift 112degrees lobe seperation. The heads are part#D20E-AB They are police interceptors with 2.19 intake and 1.66 exhaust. I'm using a stealth intake with 800 double pumper.block is balance and blueprinted should have a compression ratio of 11.2 after milling the block and heads.Does anybody have any idea how much hp and torque it will have.Or any comments on what i should change before its to late.

460 rebuild help

hi, just an observation on your rebuild, you better not get to high on your compression, i know bigger sounds better but if your talking that high of compression just remember you may not be able to run on pump gas!! you'll need higher than 93 octane or your engine will not run like you want it to.. something to think about.. Ray.. have a great day.

Is the cam numbers you gave us "advertised duration" or "duration @ .050" ? If it's 280-290 degrees @ .050 that cam will be way to radical for the street. And I agree about the compression, you will be running about one point to high for 93 octane...you will have to retard your timing to keep it from detonating. Deen

460 rebuild help

Deen,
The duration @.50 will be 214 intake 224 exhaust
The fuel is not a big problem mainly the truck is going to be used for truck drags and mud drags.
