PIONEER offering rebates
This is not a sales or marketing pitch guys, but i just bought a pioneer AVIC D3 from crutchfield for $809 (outlet price) and pioneer is offering a $200 rebate until march 31. So $600 for a brand new unit. Not bad

Hi,
I just bought the same unit but not from crutchfield. Have you installed it yet? Does it require a fitment bracket? Does the bracket that crutchfield sells and the wiring harness adapter work perfectly? Any pics?

yes you need an install kit or you won't be able to fasten it to anything. You also need the Ford specific harnesses.

Does the AVIC D3 allow you to play video from an ipod through it onto the screen or just the audio?
