Wrong.

A production date of 10/77 is a 1978. Production usually begins in late July or August for the usual September new vehicle introduction.

Bronco & F100/350: 1978 Customs have round headlamps, 1978 Rangers and Ranger XLT's have rectangular headlamps.

1979: All have rectangular headlamps.
