Most definately I have a 33x12.50 on a 7" steel rim for my spare of course it kind of
looks funny but you don't have to do a thing to set the bead as soon as you put
it on the rim it has nowhere else to go!! My rims are 8.5 with 33x12.50r15 that
I have on my bronco it looks alot better than the 7 though. It will protect your rim
and be less likely to roll off the bead at dropped pressure!! I have heard arguments
that it will give bad handling traits since the tire is supposedly able to roll on turns
more(side to side) I don't have no problem with the handling myself that just comes
with the extra meat of off road tires wether the sidewall is straight or canted inwards.
