HMM is it lowered ?
I am running
245/60/15 on 15x8 up front
275/60/15 on 15x8 put back
I plan on lowering my truck 2-3" all the way around i think it should be ok .
you might run into some front problems with the 9 or 10 depending on the backspacing
I put drop beams on mine the other day and the fenders in front were sitting ON the tires. 275-50-17. Had to buy a pair of 245-65-17s to make them fit. BTW, I have a couple of nice Nitto's for sale, less than 100 miles on them. If you live in the DFW area, holler.
hey guys im running 15x10in wheels on the back with p295/50r15
and i would like to run that size up front.
will 9 or 10 in wide wheels with tires fit up front, with no problems?
thanks
hey guys back on this subject, some guys here are telling me putting these size tires all the way around would cause my 68 f100 2wd to drive crazy, all over the road. would it?
anyone else running this setup?
also ive got P/S of that makes any difference.
also tha back in is lifted an inch.
As a general rule, when you run wide front tires on an older vehicle that was engineered for a narrower stock size, yes they will drive different and seem to follow rain groves more and the tires will almost always wear more quickly on one edge. The widest tires I've used on the front of an I-beam Ford were 10 inch wide on 8 inch rims and I went back to 225x75 on stock 6 inch rims, liked the way the truck drove much better with the skinny front tires.
