I did the frame work myself, but in the future I would have a good frame shop that works with heavy frames perform that work.

Sold the truck almost 4 years ago. Work and life has lead to less time for such projects, and also I didn't need a full size diesel any more (never did really, but it was fun!), driving an EcoBoost F150 now.

I really appreciate the update and the info.
I am at the point where I am just starting on this road.
How did the value on your truck? Also was it a salvage title or not?

It was salvage title. When I sold it to a private buyer it went for between trade-in value and Fair condition private party value, and it qualified as Good condition.
