here's my problem...pulled a P1435 code from my '98 Explorer...looked the code up and this is what I came up with..
P1435- EGR Upstream hose off or plugged
Keep in mind that I looked thru the forum and found some threads that seems like they pertain to my problem but not exactly.. My wrenching skills are pathetic to say the least....Is there a easy fix to my problem? and if so, how do I do the repair? Any help will be vastly appreciated.
Check your DPFE hoses. Also could be a faulty DPFE.
I pulled the top hose off & reseated it on the EGR valve...it seemed to be not seated very well..checked code again & everithing seems to be ok..the check engine light went out..hopefully it will stay out Thanks for your advise.
