Sorry I don't have photos but close your eyes and work with me on this.
I pulled my fuel filter to exchange it with another with the modified heater.
I have it all buttoned up but I have two wires that don't seem to have a home. One wire looks just like an injector plug with the bale and all. It keeps pointing towards the front of the truck but there is nothing there. I recall taking it loose but for the life of me I can't remember where it goes.
The other wire is a right angle female bayonet style. similar as to what goes on the water in fuel sensor. I do see what appears to be a sensor of sorts
that is screwed into the drivers side head and has a threaded post sticking out.
I don't recall even taking this one off but it is opposit the FPR it may even be in the oil manifold.
Dang, I hate getting old as it sure ain't fer sissys
I don't think that the last plur is serious but the Inj. style plug will need a home Correction: Just one wire the one that looks like it belongs on an injector.
Action, you are a genius. I almost had myself believing that that plug didn't go anywhere except the "Old Red Rooster" wouldn't run with out it plugged in.
I sure wish that you had told me that the plug went some where high becuz that was a SOB to get plugged in with the fuel filter in place.
Once again thank you.
Rog
ps
I tried to rep ya but the "Spread it around" message poped up.
Doing this alot myself, you get so absorbed into "knowing" where everything goes when you take it apart. And then the inevitable "Honey-Do" delay comes and you go to put things back together and the mind goes BLANK!
Now I faithfully whip out the digital and snap multiple pics of the area prior to disassembly, saved my butt more than once!!

Come on now. Its a sign of old age.
Wait until you go to the store and forget how to get home.
Are you going to keep a photo of your house in your pocket.
Got to keep the mind sharp!
