Adding jump seat between rear captain's chairs

Has anybody ever added a jump seat between the rear captains chairs? I have been thinking of replacing my rear captains with a bench, but have seen some of the center console jump seats for sale on ebay. They were meant for the front, but I wondered if they would fit in the back. If so, it would be a nice way to get 1 more extra seat without giving up the comfort of the captains chairs.

Can't help you with the jumpseat. But if you have the leather parchement interior I'll trade you straight up for the bench I have...PLEASE!

No can do. Most of the time we love the captain chairs, but we have a long trip planned with an extra person and are trying to find a way to make it work. Afterward, we'll probably switch back, but keep whatever mod we come up with in storage in case it ever comes up again.

I bet you could get it to work somehow. Challenges I see before you are...

1. The "normal" 20% section seat will not flip up with the captain's chairs armrests in the way.

2 The "feet" on the 20% seat would have to be modified to bolt flat since their mounting angle now matches the front tranny hump.

The width of the front and second row seats are the same so I can see it fitting quiet nicely. Figure out how to mod the seat for easy bolt-in and you have a mod named after you!
