Are you asking for the differential ratio, or the type of axle you have?
If you are looking for the ratio, you just need to open the inspection cover and count the teeth on the ring and pinion.
While i generally agree with axle codes on the door, they will only tell you what the truck had under it when the track was made. Try that with a 20 or 30 year old truck, and chances are that you will end up with incorrect information.
If you are looking for axle identification, you can post some pics (in your gallery) and you will obtain some feedback, or you can use the BOM located on the axle(s) to identify.
This should help with BOM location;

there is also an easy way to tell the difference froma D60 that you probably have in the back, and the D44 that it looks like you have up front.
The dana 60 inspection cover requires a 9/16" wrench for cover bolt removal, and the D44 requires a 1/2" wrench. Not tomention the 60 is much larger than a 44, but often difficult to tell if you have no reference.

Jack up the truck, mark the tire, mark the pinion, turn tire and count the number of
rotations the pinion spins. 3 and a half turns = 3.55 and say 4 and a couple degrees
would be 4.10:1 of course it needs to be in neutral and you had better block the wheels!!

If this is what you're wondering, check the axle code on the door sticker and cross-reference to this link:
