i bought mine @ 150k. I am pushing 190k and have not had any problems with it at all. Dirty fuel had me scared, but was no biggy. The hutch mod has cured that. And the tranny it came with would probably still be running if I wouldn't have messed with it. But now I don't have to worry about it for a while.

260K here and the valve covers have only been off one time, (uvc harness and #7 injector) still on stock tranny.

WP, Alt. , compressor,etc... you know the same crap you would have to fix on any other engine, I have had to fix.

Greg, sorry to hear about your problems.

I've never had the valve covers off of mine, but I've had the truck since day 1. To answer your question, I don't know. I've only got 242,000 on mine right now.

203K never have had the valve covers off, not one engine related problem other than CPS (knock knock). Lots of other repairs though
