heater selector won't select

heat only blows from vents nomatter where leaver is

the hose has a vacuum leak.

look under dash with a light and make sure it is connected and no splits.

look in engine compartment for the same thing.

check vaccum lines under hood, one of mine broke and i got the same thing, but it was stuck on defrost. Fix line, selector works just fine now.

Is your plenum door cable actuated? If so, you'll have to replace the control cable and rerout it through the dash. My truck has a cable actuated plenum door, but I'm not sure about yours.
